Anita holds the International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC), the Adler Certified Professional Coach (ACPC) and Certified Management Consultant(CMC) credentials.

She holds an M.A. from the U of T, a B.Sc. from McGill, is fully fluent in French and Spanish. She has international development project experience in Latin America and Africa and is a volunteer coach to women in transition.

Anita has 30 years’ experience in leadership development and had global accountability in organizational development roles in the private sector. She has also led senior teams in the public and nonprofit sectors and served in staff and advisory roles. She served as Executive Director of Partnership Development at the Premier’s Council on Health in the Ontario Public Service, as VP, Executive Development at Canada Trust, VP Leadership and Organizational Development at Manulife Financial. More recently, she served as Dean of Continuing Education at Ryerson University.

As Dean of Continuing Education at Ryerson, she had General Management experience. She exceeded revenue targets annually; built partnerships with industry, led the development of interdisciplinary Certificate Programs, a successful Quality strategy and an Access agenda focused on Internationally Educated Professionals.

As an executive coach and OD consultant, Anita has been retained across the public, financial, regulatory and legal service sectors; in natural resources, technology and manufacturing. She has provided individual and team coaching as well as given leadership to the design and implementation enterprise-wide, competency-based 360 degree leadership development initiatives for both emerging and senior executive leaders to help maximize performance as well as potential. These initiatives were also informed by data from psychometric assessment tools to help leaders gain insight into their strengths and areas for development. She is certified in use of various assessments tools.

Anita brings a powerful combination of theory and practice, as seen in the design and delivery of assessment-driven Executive Leadership and Management Development, Talent Management, Governance, Succession Planning and Performance Management processes to support organizational values and strategy.

Through individual as well as team coaching processes, she has worked with public and private sector leaders to support them in gaining insight into their leadership style. She designs and conducts organizational assessments as well as preparation and implementation of leader and team development plans. Anita has supported leaders in transitioning into new, more senior roles and reaching their goals to inspire Direct Reports to deliver results, build trust with colleagues, improve peer relationships, extend their spheres of influence and manage effective Board relationships.

Through her consulting and coaching work at Mercer Delta, PeopleTech Consulting, and more recently, through collaborative networks such as NextGen Leaders, Anita has continued to expand her work in the public and private sectors. Gmail
