Malcolm Bernstein is an executive and consultant with experience in human resource management, organizational and leadership development, executive search, board governance, and strategy.
Malcolm’s background includes senior roles in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors domestically and internationally, and partnerships in the consulting sector. He has a BA in Economics from McGill University, an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, and the Certified Management Consulting designation. He is functionally bilingual.
Malcolm is founder of The Benjamin Project, a nonprofit initiative in memory of his dog, to raise funds for animal shelters and education on responsible pet and animal stewardship. His two books and presentation about Benjamin are the foundation of the Project with much more on the drawing board.
He is Chair of the Toronto Humane Society and of its Governance and Executive Committees, served on the board of the Strategic Leadership Forum, and has done voluntary and pro bono work with several community and health care nonprofit organizations.
He brings a deep commitment to people, ethics, and the greater good in all his endeavours.
