Anita Shilton

Anita holds the International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC), the Adler Certified Professional Coach (ACPC) and Certified Management Consultant(CMC) credentials.

She holds an M.A. from the U of T, a B.Sc. from McGill, is fully fluent in French and Spanish. She has international development project experience in Latin America and Africa and is a volunteer coach to women in transition.

Anita has 40 years’ experience in leadership development. She served as Executive Director of Partnership Development at the Premier’s Council on Health in the Ontario Public Service, as VP, Executive Development at Canada Trust, VP Leadership and Organizational Development at Manulife Financial. She served as Dean of Continuing Education at Ryerson University.

As an executive coach and OD consultant, Anita brings a powerful combination of theory and practice. Anita has been retained across the public, financial, regulatory and legal service sectors; in natural resources, technology and manufacturing. Through her consulting and coaching work at Mercer Delta, PeopleTech Consulting, and NextGenLeaders, Anita has supported leaders in transitioning into new, more senior roles and reaching their goals to inspire Direct Reports to deliver results, build trust with colleagues, improve peer relationships, extend their spheres of influence and manage effective Board relationships.
