Chris Taylor

Chris cut his teeth in the direct sales industry, training and managing over 200 independent sales consultants before the age of 24. After a brief stint in corporate marketing, Chris returned to his passion for professional development and team engagement with the founding of Actionable Books in 2008.

Chris is the founder of ActionableBooks.com, on online resource centre that helps team leaders introduce concepts from leading business books to their teams – improving their own leadership credibility and enhancing the culture within their organizations.

Since 2007 Chris has been working with client facing teams in retail, hospitality and direct sales, helping clarify and align corporate objectives and personal purpose.  Chris’s clients have seen dramatic improvements in employee retention and productivity, while managers state growth in their leadership capabilities and confidence in their work.

Chris has shared the screen with some of the leading business minds of our generation - including Seth Godin, Dan Pink and Sir Ken Robinson - discussing the crucial role of aligned business units in the 21st century and Gen-Y employee engagement.

Chris’s 140+ clients include The Fairmont Royal York, CIBC and The Pampered Chef and he has spoken for Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO), Canadian Society of Training and Development (CSTD) and Women President’s Organization of Canada (WPO).
